Stop thinning hair before it's too late

Brace yourself, because today I’m about to take this blog somewhere different. As many of you know, I tend to write more serious blogs about overcoming adverse circumstances. However, I do believe that hair thinning, or loss is something that can be embarrassing, discouraging and a common occurrence that many people go through later in life.
I just heard a statistic that “by age 50, up to 85% of men and about 40–55% of women will experience noticeable hair loss or thinning.” I understand that this is a natural part of aging for many people, but as soon as I started to notice a slight thinning of my hair, I began meticulously researching potential solutions.
However, before exploring the solutions, I was curious as to why this takes place as we age. I’ve discovered that there are many causes, such as genetics, hormonal changes, the normal aging process, and other factors like stress or illness, certain medications, nutritional deficiencies, among others.
My husband rediscovered a plant awhile back called the Wonder of the World (Also known as the Life Plant or Miracle Leaf), which has many health benefits, including promoting hair growth. Please check out the following video which talks about how to prepare it to help with hair loss and other health issues: Benefits of Wonder of the World Or The Leaf Of Life. This gem is native to Madagascar, but it grows all over the world, including the Caribbean. You can order it from Amazon. It is super easy to grow (At least for my husband who has a green thumb. LOL.) and it has the ability to produce plantlets (new plants) on the edges of its leaves.
Every other week, my husband prepares a concoction of the Wonder of the World and Rosemary for me. I typically put it in my hair for approximately one hour or so before my shower. Once it’s on my scalp, I massage it for a little bit, pray over it and keep it in until I wash it. My hairstylist has even noticed all the new growth that has sprouted along my hairline.
Oddly enough, for the first year or so of my life, I was practically bald. My sisters used to make fun of me when I was a toddler, always pointing out how I was bald when I was a baby. My grandma on the other hand, always used to say that “She may not have much hair now, but she will have a full beautiful head of hair when she gets older.” And, my grandma was right, at least for 45+ years or so. However, with the help of the Wonder of the World plant and the Rosemary concoction, along with a lot of prayer, my hair is returning to its luxurious self!
